Teen Wolf

Thanks to Jacob and other werewolves from Twilight, it looks like werewolves are the new vampires. That's probably why MTV has decided to remake the 80's movie Teen Wolf. They've already casted Tyler Posey to play the lead roll, once played by Michael J. Fox. The good news is it'll be on TV, not in theatres, so at least you won't have to pay to watch it.

December 25

I bet you thought I was going to be posting about Christmas because of the title of this post. But I'm not. I'm posting about the other thing that is happening on Christmas -- the release of the movie Sherlock Holmes! I am very excited to see this movie. Besides the fact that I've always liked Sherlock Holmes, I also really like Robert Downey Jr. If he's in a movie, it's going to be good. And Jude Law isn't bad to look at either ;)

Play the game on the movie's website which allows you to become a detective and solve mysteries through your facebook. See the site here.

And if you are looking for something good to read, check out The Boy Sherlock Holmes series by Shane Peacock located in the YA area.

Like the smell of books?

Then you'll love this product, you can buy the beautiful scent of new books. This is the perfect gift for anyone who has or is getting an e-book this holiday season.

If new books aren't your thing then perhaps, the crunchy bacon scent is, or maybe the classic musty smell.

Check out the company's website here for a good laugh. While none of their products are actually real, the site is pretty funny.

Allow myself to introduce...myself...

Welcome to the RVC Library's new blog. I'm Mrs. Erin, and along with some other contributers I'll be writing regularly. Hopefully you'll check the blog to find out what we have going on at the Library (volunteering, programs and other fun events), get recommendations for books and enjoy random links, videos and more. Feel free to comment too.

Right now I'm a little addicted to fixing up the page. I mean it, I can't stop making changes. But once I stop, I'll get some other cool stuff up on here. Stay tuned...
